Love it.
One of my favorite paintings I have done of a longhorn. It was fun to paint this in watercolors in the style I learned from Judi Betts.
On a farm in the Hamby community near Abilene, Texas, Barbara grew up with either a paint brush or a softball glove in her hand. With the help of an American Watercolor Society scholarship, she received a degree in art education at McMurry University in Abilene. She taught in the public schools for twenty-four years before retiring to a full-time commitment to her art. Her loving husband Ron is a great encourager of her arts, and her entire family provides many subjects for her paintings. She also paints from photos that she has taken while traveling.
